Death Poems

Wings are not only for the birds above

for God gifted your using a dog to love

Your dog knew the love that one could give

for he knew an excellent place for that dog to reside in

and as you will have a void that can't get filled

remember that the memories can't be mortally wounded.

The love you gave for your four legged friend

is a gift of love that may assist you to mend.

Love from above will always be felt

as the wings are added your heart will melt

When you are feeling low

you will still have a method to go

to suit your needs can always talk together with share

with a friend who will always be there.

Third Poem of Poems for Dogs Death

Feet of Love

Dogs undoubtedly are a gift we can Treasure

for we know they give us great pleasure

Paw prints that made you upset

are now an issue your can't forget

Sharing your entire day with a wet nosed greeter

made life so much sweeter

Just keep in mind, that love was a fact

when you still need that friend guess what happens to do

Reading poems at a funeral can supply comfort to individuals who are suffering from the the loss of a loved one. Poets have the gift of being able to use words to give expression on the most sublime sentiments of the heart, and many of the most famous poets in history manipulate their talents to write about death and dying. Some poems about death can be dark, with emphasis on the misery of the dying and the grief of mourners. Some others, however, express empathy if you happen to suffer while offering the comfort and inspiration that flows in the hope of a lifestyle after death.

There is certainly an element of subjectivity as soon as evaluating poetry, and the effects associated with poems can vary significantly based on the individuals who read or even hear them. There are, however, some famous poems that seem particularly suitable for reading at funerals and for any stage of grief after loosing a loved one.

One of the poems that I happily recommend is "The Succumbing Christian To His Soul" by Alexander Pope. This poem approaches death in the perspective of the succumbing person, and is short enough being comfortably read within some sort of funeral service. It begins while using the description of a conflict that exists within the dying person. The physical body's collapsing while the immortal soul within is looking to continue expressing life. The dying person suffers uncertainty with what is happening in that new experience. As your senses of sight and hearing ebb away, the portal to heaven opens in addition to a new version of life is discovered. http://deathpoem39.onsugar.com/Death-Poems-Loved-Ones-21748715
